But doubts about the quality of welding still remain lurking in the mind. It is a known fact that even the most experienced welders do sometimes makes mistakes when repairing auto frames. Therefore the strength of the welding remains uncertain.

Welding is therefore not a very reliable option for auto frame repair. Even if you are an expert on welding, then too you should avoid this method and if you really want to get the job done trough welding; better get it done by the experts.

Write it off
If after examination the auto frame repair shop informs you that the frame of your car cannot be repaired with any method; you should accept the fact and prepare yourself to write it off. If you have auto insurance, you can expect to recover some price of the car; otherwise you have to sell it off as a scrap. The insurance company will inspect your car and put a value to it.
